What is the value of $16,400 to the Ronald McDonald House?

It could be fresh baked cookies and over 1,000 nights stay in a warm, secure home for families dealing with a parent’s worst nightmare.

Everyone at Haley Comfort Systems is excited to be involved in the community and show our commitment to the Ronald McDonald House. It is a great organization and we feel it’s very important in our community.

It is everyone’s hope that children live normal lives, sadly some do not. In 2016, 1,005 families were unable to stay with the Ronald McDonald House because there were no rooms available. We would like to help change that. No family should have to worry about where to stay in their time of need. Families are stronger when they are together.

Haley Comfort Systems and Bright Ideas have the opportunity to work with many families as they build and improve their homes by delivering heating, cooling, fireplace, and lighting options. As the community has grown, so has Haley Comfort and Bright Ideas, with expanding our showroom to serve our clients. We know the importance of having a warm place to call home.

When you think of community, what do you think of? The idea of community has been on our minds a lot lately, specifically the beauty of community and how people loving, supporting, and caring for one another is instrumental and irreplaceable in all of our journeys. What is so cool about community is that it comes in all different shapes and sizes! It has been said, that “where you invest your love, you invest your life.” But, what if we reverse that statement? Does it hold the same weight when we say, “where you invest your life, you invest your love.” We all have a community that we belong to. Regardless of what has led us to where we are today, and what has led us to call these places our homes, we must make a conscious effort to invest our love and lives into the communities that surround us.

Haley Comfort Systems challenged Auer Steel, our Bryant Heating & Cooling distributor and Heat n Glo, our fireplace distributor to match our donation of $100 per piece of equipment sold during our Fall Open House in September.

  • $200 was donated for every furnace, air conditioner, fireplace, stove or insert that was sold.
  • 960 hot dogs were served
  • 350 kids played on our 8 bounce houses
  • 95 Ronald McDonald socks were sold
  • 60 pizzas were cooked on our pellet stoves
  • Drawings for FREE Bryant Furnace, Heatilator Gas Fireplace or Insert, Dimplex Electric Fireplace, Aprilaire Humidifier, Wi-Fi Thermostat, MN
Wild Hockey tickets, MN Vikings tickets, and Bluetooth speakers were given away

Inspired by the Richard M. Schulze Grant Challenge, we are proud to say we raised $16,400!

We would also like to THANK all of our customers that made purchases during the Open House and also a big THANK YOU to all of our staff that helped make this fundraiser a huge success.

In the future, Haley Comfort Systems plans to continue with more fundraisers like this one which will benefit the future of our communities, our children.
